• Andaman Islands

Being my first time in India , Andaman was an exciting destination . Everybit of the islands visited was a pure delight . My very favourite was the stay at seashell cottages and I Thank The Wilside for suggesting that place.  The cab services were punctual so we ended up spending a lot more time in the beaches. Overall trip was unforgettable.

Ciao, Travelling India for almost two weeks before the Andamans clearly told me that Andaman islands isone of a kind. The water was beautiful and I completely enjoyed my stay there. Thanks to Wildsidetours for the memory of this beautiful side of India.

The Andamans is sure a destination of beauty and serenity and I thank The Wildside tours for organising such a thoughtful trip. Starting from the hotel selections to the pickup services they were point on and gave us good options to choose from . The day trips organised were flexible and conveniently arranged and I must say that the hassle free travel made it more memorable.

  • North East India

Doesn’t get better than a trip kaziranga national park in the summer of 2018. Unforgettable, seeing the mighty Bhramaputra winding it’s muddy way around the park, lazy rhinos in attendance. No planned cruise or elaborate spread could have been better than our impromptu fishing boat ride on this iconic river. Still drooling over the delicious chilli smeared fish roasted on makeshift tinfoil with mustard oil. Truly an Incredible India moment.
Gaurav’s passion for nature and wildlife shows in his planning and infected us travellers too. Thanks for putting together an unforgettable trip and staying on call during moments of drama, Gaurav.

  • Lion safari – Gir Sanctuary, India

Although I was aware that Asiatic Lions existed in India, I never knew they were so easy to see until I got in touch with Gaurav after seeing his Instagram post. On our way back to Germany from Australia, I stopped in India for 6 days to see the Lions. I landed Rajkot and the driver got me at the airport. I saw so many Lions in 3 days in Gir. Gaurav had planned another park close by, the Black Buck reserve. In one day, I saw some very rare animals including Indian Wolf and Hyena. The safaris and driver was nice and hotels was comfortable. Next time, I have to stay longer to see the Tigers. The Wildside and Gaurav planned well and I recommend him to any person wanting to go there for Lions.

  • Tigers and Taj

The Wildside hosted me and my wife in India. Being our first trip to the East, Gaurav insisted we visited Varanasi. It was the best decision we took and oh wow! What a city it was. The temples in Khajuraho was mind-blowing and if not for The Wildside, we wouldn’t have gone to these places. The sunrise at Taj Mahal was spectacular and then we headed over to Gaurav’s most recommended place – Ranthambhore. Though we weren’t too interested in Wildlife, we enjoyed the hospitality of the hotel and also the safari for 2 days. 2 Tigers were all we saw but that was a soul-stirring experience. We were put up in great hotels in Jaipur, Udaipur and Jodhpur and the guides and drivers were great. They made us feel like home in a foreign country and India deserves a return visit soon!

  • Central India

I traveled to India with The Wildside and I haven’t experienced something like what I did there. Our tour leader Gaurav pays so much attention to smallest detail of the trip. The customer service is unmatched. His small gift hamper, which he hands out, had so many essentials including a sim card with ample data, a field guide, a nice cover for dust and lots more. I didn’t have to take out my wallet for anything and the trip flowed so smoothly that we had nothing to worry about. Everything worked in clock precision not once were we delayed anywhere. The whole 3 weeks visiting Bandhavgarh, Kanha, Pench and Tadoba has created a longing to go back soon. Thanks Gaurav and The Wildside for taking good care of us in your country. We will be back sometime soon!!

  • North and North East India

A friend who traveled to India referred me to The Wildside. Looking at the business card, I was under the impression that it was a big tour company. On calling, I got a message, “In class, will call back”. 2 hours later, a young lad calls back, it was Gaurav. I was a bit skeptical to entrust my holiday to a college student. But then decided to go ahead with plan. It took a few weeks to decide our locations and finally the day came to depart. Disaster, our flight out of Prague to Abu Dhabi was delayed causing us to miss our connection to Mumbai. Gaurav was quick to have us rescheduled on a different flight via Frankfurt to Delhi. He had his person to assist us from the aerobridge all the way until the domestic airport.

From there on Gaurav took over and we rushed to board our flight to Guwahati and over to Kaziranga. 4 days later, I was excited to see the Taj Mahal. A long day, but reached late evening. And after Agra, we went down to Ranthambhore. 12 Tigers in 3 days. Couldn’t ask for more.  Gaurav and the guides worked hard to find the cats. He then took us on a surprise safari in Jhalana. Its a small Leopard Park near Jaipur where we saw 3 leopards that evening. Later that night, we flew back home.

  • Jaipur and Ranthambhore

Having visited the Smithsonian Museum in January 2016, I for the first came across Gaurav’s work on display. A quick google search brought us to his website and learnt about his tours in India. I talked to my parents and sent an email to Gaurav to ask for some information on a probable trip to India. Response was immediate and within 3 days, our trip was confirmed for April 2016. My parents and I flew down to Delhi and Gaurav’s representative met us there. We flew to Jaipur and spent 4 days in Ranthambhore. It was the most exciting experience to see a wild tiger 15 feet away. The guide and driver were oozing with knowledge of the park and I learnt a lot more than I knew about the Tigers.

We as a family had a great time, except for the warm weather. Jaipur it was………. Our next stop. The driver spoke fluent English and directed us to some great eateries to savour the best of what the city had to offer. 1135 AD, was like a fantasy. Great dining choice recommended by Gaurav. His choice of hotels and description of the experience was exact. After 3 nights there, we unfortunately had to return with memories that would last a lifetime.

  • Rajasthan

One of my most memorable and enjoyable vacations was organised by Gaurav through his firm “The Wildside”. We were a bunch cousins along with kids visiting Rajasthan during the month of July 2016.

We had a great time without any trouble with our stay and transportation. Everything was well thought of including where we ate, places to visit and activities. Overall it was an unforgettable vacation and looking forward to more trips organized by The Wildside soon.

  • India

Gaurav has organised quite a few  photo tours for me, and these were some of the best and memorable trips that i have made in India . Thanks to his seamlessly arranged logistical operations, I was never exposed to even a hint of problem with travel, accommodation, food, or even photography opportunities.

A fantastic safari experience from pre-travel through the safari to post travel – every tiny detail was addressed and taken care of throughout the trip, necessity and comfort alike. We never got a chance to give him suggestions for improvement, cause he had thought well ahead and anticipated our every need before and made the necessary arrangements.

We thoroughly enjoyed interacting and benefitting from their very professional and at the same time cordial ‘THE WILDSIDE’ team.

One would think that the hardships that come along with a real-time jungle safari would stereotype it only for adults. Not true. I got a chance to take my family along in a couple of the trips and my 7 year old thoroughly enjoyed it, all thanks to Gaurav and his team.

Gaurav is a personable and an easy to get along person. I’ve enjoyed the tours organised my Gaurav and look forward to a long and productive relationship.  I would recommend Gaurav’s Wildside in a heart beat to anyone who would like to explore nature at its best!

  • Udaipur, Rajasthan

After a destination wedding at Jodhpur we a group of 11 friends wanted to do a crisp 3 Day sightseeing trip of Udaipur .We conveyed our plan to The Wildside and right from planning our pick up at Jodhpur on 2.3.2017 to drop off at Udaipur airport on 5.3.2017 the entire trip was a breeze. No surprises or hiccups. English speaking guide on the entire trip ensured that we made the best of our stay, not missing out on the attractions of the city of lakes & palaces.

Starting with the stop at Ranakpur Jain temple, marvelous architecture, en- route to Udaipur, we did The city tour …Saheliyon ki Bari Garden of the Maids of Honour, boat ride on Lake Pichola, temples of Eklinghji,  Shrinathji & Bala Krishna  and exotic local cuisine at Nataraj’s .Chittorgarh Fort was a 2-hour drive from Udaipur, the epitome of Rajput pride, romance and spirit.

Special mention of our tour guide Paru at Chittorgarh Fort who took us back to the era of romance & valour  … and the shooting spots of the great movie  Jodha Akbar … way beyond being a guide we could sense how passionate she was of the place  which was also her home. No trip to Venice of the East is complete without going to Bagore ki Haveli to witness popular evening show with variety of Indian dances & relax at the Amet Haveli for buffet dinner.

Thank you Gaurav for a wonderful hassles free trip and would definitely use The Wildside services for our other trips.
